This St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt is so much fun!
We have a family leprechaun that comes to our house every year on the night before St. Paddy’s day. His name is McRiley and he causes mischief and leaves clues for the kids so they can find a treasure in the morning. My girls really look forward to this and it has become a fun tradition.
We have been using the same scavenger hunt for the past four years, so I decided it was time to change things up and I am so excited to share it with you!
My mom and I had so much fun coming up with these clues! We were laughing so hard as we came up with the hiding places and rhymes.
I hope your kids will enjoy deciphering the clues, but just in case there’s any question as to where the clue leads, there are instructions. 🙂
The printable set comes with 8 clue cards and a treat topper that fits on any size zipper baggie.
Just cut out all the printables and after the kids go to bed on March 16th, lay the cards out where they belong. Your kids will love racing through the clues to get to the treasure that reminds them that they are the greatest treasure!
I love using these gold coins (<–affiliate link) as the “treasure,” but there are so many things you could put in the treasure baggies. You could use chocolate nuggets, rainbow candies, or cereal. If you don’t want to give candy, you could use quarters or a small toy. Anything that your kids think is a treasure works here!
And if you’re looking for a way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day AND help the kids learn about Jesus? This St. Patrick’s Day Scripture Beatitude Printable kit is fun and easy!
It makes a great family night activity. ☺
I hope you can use this scavenger hunt for some extra fun this St. Patrick’s Day! Leave a comment and let me know what you think, or snap a picture and tag me in Instagram!
